Magdalena Handwriting Font by MagdalenaTR Magdalena Handwriting Font by MagdalenaTR
This is sort of what my handwriting looks like. Made in Font Creator 5.0, importing images drawn on photoshop with my tablet.

If you want to use it, go ahead, but please tell me (post), I would really appreciate it.

This contains most of the commonly used characters in English as well as Spanish (acentos, ñ...). It is a TrueType font.

Any letters/things I should improve (make more understandable)?

Also, I don't know if the file is working correctly. Please tell me if it's not.

How to install a font on Windows(well, most anyhow :P): Download the file, extract if needed, and go to My Computer --> Local Disk --> WINDOWS --> Fonts, and save it in fonts. It should work.

*Edit*
I fixed the g and some other letters that were placed oddly (p, q). They should all be in the right place now... hopefully.

Using my tablet, I drew each separate letter in Photoshop (you could do the same thing by hand and scan it though). Then, I imported each letter into it's proper place in Font Creator 5. From there, you just have to mess around with the placement, till it looks like your handwriting.

it should work. You have to install it like I explain on the comment. If you have photoshop open when you do, you have to close it down and open it up again to get it to work.

It seems a bit weird that some characters are (or at least look like they are) slightly thicker than others. But still this looks like a fine font, much better and more usable than most handwriting fonts.

thanks...
that would be my slow handwritting though... my fast one all letters merge together and can't be deciphered (even by me sometimes =P)

haha, I feel you're paint...

I slowed down a little for my font, but not so much... I love my chicken scratch handwriting sometimes....

Interesting...but it looks no different than any other font, in my opinion. Looking good though..

there is a little orange icon that says download to desktop. You click that, and choose where to download, and then put it in fonts. :)

That's pretty cool. I've actually never seen anything like this here before. I mean, I've seen handwriting fonts but, never one on DA. I like it and besides the 'g' which has already been pointed out, I see nothing that needs any changes. Great work.

That's pretty cool. The size of the lower case g is a little distracting though and it makes it harder to read.

so how long did it take to do this. It takes alot of patience to make a font. I had to make a quick bitmap font for my typography class once, but it took forever. I suppose I could upload it so people could laugh... it's pretty ugly.

It took about an hour or two. Not too much, considering I wasn't making the font up (that is pretty much what I write like on paper). Most letters I only drew once. Only if it came out very bad I did it twice.
I would like to see your font :) I have a ton of random fonts that I have found, and liked, on my computer :)

well, I havn't made it into a font technically. It's just a big bitmap file. Is the program you used freeware? I need one if I'm going to make it into one.

Well, I used a 30 day trial of Font Creator... I could't find any decent freeware...
